    Hi Mark, I only just saw your response now amd thank you for your reply. I am Sadie’s great grandaughter. My grandmother was Sadie’s eldest child Cassie and my mother Cassie’s eldest daughter Diane. I wish I knew more as Sadie wasn’t the type to make up stories but it must be the case of a story getting repeated and exaggerated over the years.

    Hello. I am a great granddaughter of Sadie St Leon. I was always told growing up that her father Alf Onzalo (stage name) Walked somewhere across Sydney harbour on a tightrope. I have never been able to verify this. Today while going through some things of my mother’s I found an article with a photo of him that made this claim. It was just a photocopy and I have no idea where it came from. Just wondering if anyone has ever heard anything about Onzalo?
